PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Marcus Bush has 6 years of experience specializing in community/public outreach, research, regional & urban planning, and development of public policy. His diverse professional background includes working for a hotel & restaurant workers union, being on the Board of Directors for the National City Chamber of Commerce, interning for the San Diego Association of Governments in both the Project Management office and Regional Planning Department, and currently, working with Mooney Planning Collaborative (MPC) as a Community Planner. In addition to working for MPC, Marcus also serves as the Vice Chairman for the National City Planning Commission where he advocates for smart growth policies that include complete streets, infill housing, transit-oriented development, public art, and urban place-making.
